Newport Beach California!

At the end of February we took a trip to Newport Beach California for one of Chad's chiropractic conferences.  This is a trip on a whale watching boat.

We were all happy campers at the beginning of the trip.

We went with our friends from Palmer, Emily & Brent 

The highlight of the ride was seeing the dolphins swim and jump by the boat.

    This pic was taken right before we all started getting sick.  A rocking boat is not a good idea for a pregnant lady who just ate pizza.  I ended up losing my lunch overboard and vowing NEVER to go on another whale watching trip!

   Our last day we went to a park in Lagoona Beach called Treasure Island Park.  It was beautiful!!

We had to carry James everywhere on the beach because he wouldn't let his toes touch the sand!

It felt like we were in Hawaii.  Look at those beautiful plants!!

Goodbye beach.  Time to head home to the land of the desert.  It sure was nice to visit the ocean and see all of the water and green!

It was fun to spend some times with our friends ;-)
