Lake Mead
| We decided to take a little trip out to Lake Mead one Friday afternoon. It was HOT!!! So the water felt real good. |
24th of July Tri-Stake Parade in Henderson

| Hiking in Snow Canyon in St. George one weekend with our friends Katey & Logan |
| Katey and I just a tad bit excited about finally getting out of the house to go on an outdoor adventure.! |
| James settling in for a nice morning nap. |
| We took a short hike to a little slot canyon. Not really anything high adventure, but it was pretty. |
| James, still sleeping. |
| Katey, determined to put some kind of adventure into the trip. |
| Katey and Norah |
| My turn with the backpack. James is wishing for his crib, poor kid! |
| A few weeks later we decided to take James on his first trip to Zions National Park. |
| Thinking we would be doing some real hiking, I strapped James into the backpack. Turns out all of the trails we went on happened to be paved! We were sure wishing we had the jogging stroller with us instead. |
| We took the River Walk to the opening of the Narrows. Beautiful as always :-) |
| James and I had a good time wading. |
Chad failed to wear his Chacos . . . so he had to forgo the water. I keep trying to convince him that Chacos are superior footwear, but the guy is pretty keen on wearing socks. Someday I will convert him :-)
While visiting family in Utah, we went on a great hike to Stewart Falls at Sundance in Provo Canyon with Chad's old roommate Chris and his wife. We got caught in the rain, but it was a gorgeous hike!
Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Frandsen
James thought he was pretty big stuff riding on that trike!
Grandpa was super nice to push him around. That is one agile grandpa!
Lookout, James found a wheel.
First time coloring with Grandma :-)

Grandpa will do almost anything for the grandkids! That trike has had a lot of love in 35 years.
